Freezing is proof of pure essential oils
Plant-based essential oils like camellia seed oil tend to solidify and crystallize at low temperatures. This doesn't mean you've bought a fake product; on the contrary, it's a sign that you've bought pure essential oils! Like camellia seed oil, solidification at low temperatures is its physical characteristic. Different batches and brands may have slightly different fatty acid compositions, so the way they solidify will also differ; some will crystallize, some will be semi-solid, but these are all normal phenomena! 👍

Remember that matter has three states? Solid, liquid, and gas, and essential oils are no exception. Each essential oil has its own freezing point, roughly between 0-20℃. The purer the essential oil, the more pronounced the crystallization phenomenon. This is because of the different characteristics and extraction processes of the essential oils, so the solidification temperature will also vary.
